My Review

If there’s one thing I’m always on the hunt for, it’s an eye cream that actually makes a difference. The under-eye area is one of the trickiest spots to treat. It is delicate, prone to dehydration, and, let’s be honest, often the first place to show signs of late nights and too much screen time.

So, when I got my hands on the REOME Firming Eye Treatment, I was immediately intrigued. This brand has been making waves with its science-backed, skin-barrier-strengthening approach, and their first-ever eye treatment claims to be a world first with their use of bio-tech active ingredient DHK-3.

It’s an ingredient that is super-antioxidant, yet way more stable than Vitamin C. It’s apparently so effective that it can be used at low concentrations which make is less likely to cause irritation, which is so important for eye creams.

It aims to firm, de-puff, and smooth fine lines while deeply hydrating the skin.

REOME is a relatively new name in the skincare world, but their ethos is all about high-performance, bio-active formulas designed to restore and repair stressed skin. Their Firming Eye Treatment is no exception. It’s a gel-crème hybrid that targets the key concerns of the under-eye area: puffiness, fine lines, dehydration, and loss of firmness.

Alongside the star of the show, DHK-3™ Bio-Active Peptide Complex, there’s an impressive cocktail of ingredients designed to strengthen, brighten, and depuff.

Texture & Application – First Impressions

The texture of this eye cream is gorgeous. It’s a lightweight gel-cream hybrid that feels incredibly silky and cooling on the skin. Unlike some richer eye creams that can feel heavy or greasy, this absorbs quickly, making it perfect for both morning and night use.

I found that a tiny amount goes a long way. Just a small dab is enough for both eyes. It also layers beautifully under makeup without pilling, and I find that it immediately makes the eye area look and feel refreshed. It has a lovely cooling sensation, so it’s gorgeous for sleepy eyes first thing in the morning.

Does It Work?

I have been trying out a few different eye creams this year, so I haven’t been able to test this exclusively. However, I have to say, I really am impressed by this formula.

It is SO hydrating and it keeps my eye area hydrated pretty much all day. As I said above, the cooling effect is so nice, and I think this really helps with any puffiness that I wake up with. I haven’t experienced any sensitivity or irritation, even when I use it really close to my eyes, (which I sometimes get with stronger actives).

It has a lovely smoothing effect which is great under makeup, and I find that concealer sits really well on top of this, without creasing or settling into fine lines.

This eye cream formula provides a brilliant combination of hydration, skin barrier support, antioxidant protection, and anti-ageing benefits, making it a well-rounded option for those looking to address multiple skin concerns.

I love the lightweight texture and how easily it absorbs into the skin and I think this will be great if you struggle with puffiness, dehydration, or fine lines. It will be a fantastic investment and if you’re looking for a luxurious yet effective under-eye solution, this one is definitely worth considering.
